We work alongside you throughout the process, offering expert guidance, accountability, and reassurance — helping you move through estate settlement at your own pace and ensuring every task and decision is documented along the way.
Hello! I’m Tracy
I founded Undermountain Partners to help people in the “sandwich generation” make space for healing amid loss.
When my father died in 2023, it felt impossible to accommodate my grief while balancing the demands of work and parenting. I was desperate to make sense of that complicated relationship, but it was so, so hard to find the time and bandwidth to grapple with loss, mortality, and complex grief.
Since then, so many people I love have said goodbye to people they love. But with all their responsibilities, they are literally too busy to process loss, make time for healing, or seek meaning.
These experiences changed how I think about death and what people need in its immediate aftermath.
Before founding Undermountain Partners, I built a career as a research leader in financial services, where I focused on understanding and giving voice to the emotional complexity of our financial lives. I was particularly drawn to end-of-life planning and helped build a successful digital estate-planning platform at a major financial institution.
The period following a death brings intense emotional strain alongside the burden of navigating unfamiliar, high-stakes legal and financial tasks. I believe that it can also be a time to reflect and connect, but only if people are given space to engage with their loss. That space is too often cluttered by the practical demands of settling a loved one’s affairs.
Undermountain Partners exists to support the work that comes after a loss, giving executors the space to attend to the emotional weight of loss and begin to heal.
